Prepare in time for the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR)

At the workshop on the topic of the EU Deforestation Regulation (the European Union Deforestation Regulation – EUDR), we will focus on the fundamental obligations arising for Slovak companies (especially manufacturers and sellers of products made of wood, rubber, coffee, cattle, cocoa, oil palm and soy) from the Deforestation Regulation. These will apply (following a recent shift) from 30 December 2025.

During the workshop we will focus on the following topics:

• Defining the goods and type of business to which the Deforestation Regulation applies, including exemptions
• Impact of the Regulation on Slovak entrepreneurs
• Main duties and time schedule
• Procedures for ensuring compliance with the Regulation – compliance processes and due diligence
• Current status of implementing regulations in the Slovak Republic
• Sanctions for non-compliance with EUDR requirements and control mechanisms
• How to prepare in time

The workshop will be held in Slovak language.
