365 bank, a.s.

Poštová banka was established in 1992 as joint-stock company and started its activities on January 1, 1993, and since 2000 it has cooperated on a contractual basis with Slovenská pošta, which can be considered a financial agent with the largest distribution network in the Slovak Republic. 365.bank started its activities in 2018 as a purely digital bank and a sub-brand of Poštová banka. It also functioned as its innovation hub for introducing new technologies in banking. In June 2021, it changed positions with Poštová banka and kept its marketing brand 365.bank, but the Poštová banka brand continues to operate at post offices. It has thus become a fully-fledged multi-channel bank and the group's main bank and has expanded its initially purely digital orientation to include services in the offline world as well. It also took over the brick-and-mortar branches of Poštová banka under its brand, to which it brought a new informal model of client service based on a friendly relationship. It brings the topic of finance to the Slovak banking industry from the perspective of today's people, with an emphasis on digital daily banking and the "mobile first" philosophy of banking. Thanks to this, it has become the most preferred digital bank in Slovakia. The development of the digital environment at 365.bank is also related to the emphasis on environmental sustainability, paperless and plastic-free banking. It was the first bank in Slovakia to introduce a digital card, a property-free account, offered clients the opportunity to apply for a mortgage through a mobile application and translated its ecological efforts into involvement in society-wide projects and initiatives. In addition to ecology, one of the main topics for 365.bank is financial literacy. It was therefore the first to bring the children's mobile banking app SMARTIE to the market. In 2021 it became the Bank of the Year in Slovakia according to the prestigious magazine The Banker.

"As a socially responsible bank, our priorities include adhering to ethical and legal standards. At 365.bank, we place emphasis not only on compliance with legislation, but also on the principles of honesty, decency and respect in relation to our clients, business partners as well as in mutual employee relations. As knowledge is the basis of good decision-making, we care about the development of literacy of our employees not only in the professional field, but also in the field of moral and ethical standards. We value our membership in the Slovak Compliance Circle and see it as the right step on the path to our continuous development and we believe that together we will support the Slovak Compliance Circle mission in promoting and enforcing the principles of compliance and business ethics in Slovakia."
